Why can't I do a copy tftp:odran.txt nvram:startup-config - MDS9216A

copy tftp:odran.txt nvram:startup-config doesn't like the word nvram although the following link on page 3-23 says I can do it.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/storage/san_switches/mds9000/sw/rel_1_x/1_0_2a/san-os/configuration/guide/MDSCnfig.pdf

Another document says I have to do

copy tftp:odran.txt system:running-config

and then do

copy system:running-config nvram:startup-config

I have worked on Cisco Routers and Switches and I find that file manipulation on MDS is more tricky.

Any suggestion?

startup-config is not an allosed parameter for version 3.0.

We get a message saying

copy tftp startup-config command has been deprecated and says use sequence

write erase

reload

copy tftp running-config
