Current mini-GBIC models for SB Managed Switches?

I will be connecting a two-year old SRW2024 v00.03.00 firmware 1.2.1 to a new SGE2010 switch via fiber , using the mini-GBIC SFP slots.

My online research shows that the GLC-SX-MM is recommended for the SRW2024, however that model apparently has been discontinued?

Please provide the replacement part number, and also the recommended GBIC model to use in the SGE2010, SRW224G4P-K9-NA, and SRW208P-K9-NA.

where have you gotten that info from ?

atleast right now it sells and is being shipped aswell as manufactured.

could you please provide us with a source for that information ?

My mistake - i was searching for the wrong part number; put the "=" at the end and suddenly tons are available

from distributors and third parties.

Still looking for the correct mini-GBIC SFP modules for the other switches.

What type of fiber ?

Whats the distance ?

4 strands 62.5µm MultiMode;  less than 1000 feet

I can not find any information on what works in those switches, and I have no first hand experience with them myself.

good luck
