Hi everyone,
Customer asked me what does "max-lf" mean displayed by "show dlsw reachability" command.
Following is the result of "show dlsw reachability" command.
xxxx.yyyy.zzzz FOUND REMOTE xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx(2065) max-lf(4472)
yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy(2065) max-lf(4472)
I understand max-lf means the max largest frame size (in bytes).
And this remote peer (in this case, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy) can use frame size
on a circuit up to max-lf without segmenting/fragmenting the frame
So in this case, "4472" means the max largest frame size for those remote peers.
Is my understanding true ?
And what does "2065" means ?
Are those values (4472 and 2065) configured automatically unless customer does not
configured "dlsw remote-peer" with "lf" size option.
Would you please let me know about my question.
Your information would be appreciated.
Best regards,

SHINICHI
max-lf describes the largest frame and I believe that the 4472 is a default value.
2065 is the TCP port number used to carry DLSW. It is not related to largest frame in any way.
