VSS- 6504 E

Hello Guys,

I am using two 6504E switches and want to configure VSS but i have some confusions. I am following cisco Documentation.

And got stuck on this command.

Step 4 Switch-1(config)# router routing_protocol processID 

In my case, right now both switches are configured standalone, connected with each other. Switch one is using the static route towards firewall.

Please advice what to write on this command.

Hi,

Step 4 Switch-1(config)# router routing_protocol processID 

This command is used if you are planning to use a routing protocol like OSPF, EIGRP, etc..

Example:

router ospf 10

router eigrp 20

etc..

If you are using static routes, you don't need this command.
