VSS and POE

Hi,

I am considering VSS on a client's network. The design will have 2 core/distribution 6509, 2 6509 access on a different floor and 2 6509 in a different building in a MAN using dark fiber to connect to the core.

Can I use VSS on each 6509 pairs? Does VSS effect IPT? The client is running Avaya IP phones in a seperate VLAN from the Data VLANs.

I understand that the current IOS can only support a single SUP and future release will support dual SUP. Does that mean I can only install one sup or can I install 2 sup and activate the second one when the future IOS release support dual sup in a single switch?
