Cisco IOS IPv4 and IPv6 Documentation Structure

As a future IPv6 documentation user, how would you like to see Cisco IOS IPv4 and IPv6 documentation structured?

Here are three possible scenarios:

   1. Separate books for each technology area with combined IPv4 and IPv6 information in each book.
   2. Separate IPv4 and IPv6 books with each technology area having its own IPv4 and IPv6 book.
   3. A single IPv6 book that includes all features that support IPv6.

What would you like to see? Other ideas?

Thanks!

Re: Cisco IOS IPv4 and IPv6 Documentation Structure

I would expect seeing option 1. The transition to IPv6 will last many years and I see a dual stack world for a long time.

Having separate doc structures for each address family isn't good for those woking with such environments.

I would rather having combined documentation, including any restrictions or caveats specific to a particular address family.

Cheers, Gustavo
