The PowerPoint pack is nice, but it has absolutely nothing ISE related, and under Visio Request the existing visio stencils link goes back to the old page.

Still, great resource, thank you for sharing!

Any chance of getting the logical / persona icon stencils?

The logical/toplogy icons are produced by an internal Cisco group. The only source I know of is this link from the Visio download page:

Yeah, that's the first place I looked :-( I've gone through the Visio stencils, Power Point and EPS icons too.

I suggest it would be in Cisco's best financial interest to make it easier for their customers to draw up nifty presentations to management :-)

Is there a way to request new Visio Icons? I know several people have been looking for the

-SM-D-48FXS-E and -SM-DW-BLANK for the VG 350 platform.  The Cisco VG Series Gateway stencil has a VG350 in there, but it's fully populated with -SM-D-72FXS.

Update: The Cisco Brand Exchange (http://bx.cisco.com/cbx-portal/) is now the best source for the latest topology icons. There is no way I can see to download them in one file all at once, but there is a shopping "basket" that you can add multiple files to and then download them all at once.  The download zip files contain image files in several formats. Mostly, the formats are Adobe Illustrator and png. Sometimes you may find other formats as well but that's not standard.

  1. Go to the Cisco Brand Exchange http://bx.cisco.com/cbx-portal/
  2. Create an account. It's free.
  3. On the left, under Brand Categories, select Brand Assets and then Icons
  4. Select Device and you will see previews of the icon images.
  5. There are currently 6 pages so you can either scroll through them or search
  6. To search, use the gray search field that is directly above the icon previews that contains the text "search within this category" in dim characters
  7. For example, enter "nexus" and you will see all of the Nexus line icons
  8. You can download them individually or you can check multiple boxes to download the separeate zip files into a shopping cart "basket".
  9. To use the basket, click Add to Basket at the bottom of the preview area then click Basket at the top of the page to see what you've selected and to download them.

If you have Adobe Illustrator you can convert the .ai files to Enhanced Metafile files if you want the most sharp images to insert into Visio. The .png files will not be as sharp when sized up but that may not matter. If you keep them at their original size they will be sharp enough for most diagrams. Therefore, for most cases I suggest simply using the Insert > Picture menu in Visio to place the .png icon files into your Visio diagram.

I hope this is helpful.
