C40 unable to call any CTS system

Heikki Kaukonen

Level 1

We have several CTS series systems and now got the first C40 device.
I can get C40 registered to CUCM but not able connect any CTS system.

CTS systems works fine on point to point and multipoint calls.

CUCM is version 9.1.1

CTS systems are 1.9.4

C40 is TC6.1.1

Tried to find where to start troubleshooting but not found.

Any idea?

just type xhistory in ssh or telnet and check for call disconnect cause

Hi Amit, here is an example. *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 CallId: 2 *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 Protocol: "Sip" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 Direction: Outgoing *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 CallType: Video *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 RemoteNumber: "sip:40821@10.165.48.2" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 CallbackNumber: "sip:40821@10.165.48.2" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisplayName: "40821@10.165.48.2" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 Dismissed: True *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 CallRate: 0 *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 CallPriority: None *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisconnectCauseValue: 12 *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisconnectCause: "Call party not registered" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisconnectCauseType: NetworkRejected *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisconnectCauseCode: 404 *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 DisconnectCauseOrigin: SIP *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 StartTime: "2013/07/09 11:19:57" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 Duration: 0 *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 Encryption: "Aes-128" *h xHistory CallLogs Call 22 BookingId: ""

Heikki, please confirm if C40 is registered to CUCM

can you also provide xstatus SIP from C40 ?

Hi Amit,

Here is xstatus SIP response. I also verified from CUCM where it shows registered.

Thank you.

xstatus SIP *s SIP Proxy 1 Status: Active *s SIP Proxy 1 Address: "10.165.48.2" *s SIP Proxy 1 Secure: False *s SIP Proxy 1 Verified: False *s SIP Registration 1 Status: Registered *s SIP Registration 1 Reason: "" *s SIP Registration 1 URI: "40015@10.165.48.2" *s SIP Registration 1 Authentication: Off *s SIP Profile 1 Proxy 1 Status: Active *s SIP Profile 1 Proxy 1 Address: "10.165.48.2" *s SIP Profile 1 Secure: False *s SIP Profile 1 Verified: False *s SIP Profile 1 Authentication: Off *s SIP Profile 1 Mailbox MessagesWaiting: 0 *s SIP Profile 1 CallForward Mode: Off *s SIP Profile 1 CallForward URI: "" *s SIP Profile 1 CallForward DisplayName: "" *s SIP Profile 1 Registration 1 Status: Registered *s SIP Profile 1 Registration 1 Reason: "" *s SIP Profile 1 Registration 1 URI: "40015@10.165.48.2" ** end

A SIP 404 is a generic error for failed to establish call (It can mean anything from "This number doesn't exist", to "You're not allowed to call this number (but it does exist)" to "System error making call")
