C90 HD-SDI min resolution

Hi,

We have 4 C90 running TC5.1.5 and wanted to use our streaming cameras(lot of rooms switched through an SDI matrix) connected on the HD-SDI port.

We want to send SD-SDI(Anamorphic 16:9 into 4:3 625L 25Fps European Format) SMPTE 259M(270Mbit/s) video on the HD-SDI C90's Input, in the spec, they mentioned a min of 720P 25Hz but in the Cisco C90 Physical Interface Guide document, the support of SMPTE 259M ( 270Mbit/s) is mentioned.

We don't have any video on this entry in this configuration.

Is there a special configuration to support this format or is it not supported?

Thank you for your help,

Philippe

C90 HD-SDI min resolution

The C90 Data Sheet and Physical Interface Guide both list the following as the supported formats on the four HD-SDI Inputs:

  • 1920 x 1080@30 Hz (1080p30)
  • 1920 x 1080@25 Hz (1080p25)
  • 1280 x 720@60 Hz (720p60)
  • 1280 x 720@50 Hz (720p50)
  • 1280 x 720@30 Hz (720p30)
  • 1280 x 720@25 Hz (720p25)

I can see that it does mention SMPTE 259M in the Levels section, but only the above are listed as supported formats.
