cisco collaboration edge VPN-less Jabber - Support Jabber Voice only?

CUCM --- Expressway-Core ---- Expressway-Edge ---- Jabber Voice.

Is it possible for the Expressway Collaboration solution (VPN-less Jabber) to connect the CUCM only? without the IM& Presence server? I just wanted to get the phone voice service only.

As the Jabber Voice app, I cannot input the <Username>@<ExternalDomain>.com format to login? So not support?

As the Jabber app, I disconnected the IM& Presence connect on the Expressway-Core, then that will be fail to login. So not Support?

Phone only mode is supported with Edge but the apps available today dont support Edge. I believe the apps that support Edge and Phone only mode will be release in another month or so. It works only with Jabber for Windows today.
