Cisco E20 with CUCM 8.5.1

I´d like to know if is possible to register E20 phones at CUCM server as a 2nd line.

The 1st. line is registered at my VCS server and I have also a TMS to provisioning the Tandberg equipments.

What I need to do for this integration ? There are some documentation ??

I’m not sure if there is any document available for this, but you may register E20 on CUCM version 8.5.1 as 3^rd party SIP UA.

However you need to configure cap filter on E20 filtering BFCP as version 8.5.1 does not support BFCP.

E20 may receive the call from VCS/CUCM, and you will have selection which SIP proxy server to communicate when initiating the call if E20 registered on VCS and CUCM separately.

Hi Lucio,

If you want to register E20 as third party device to CUCM please use an older software version prior to TE4 (e.g. TE2.2.1)  –  registering as a third party endpoint is not supported in TE 4.x.
