Hi, does anyone can inform which CISCO ISDN GW device/model can we use for videoconferece instead the former Codian 3241?
The routers can do ISDN<->H.323 gateway for voice calls, but they are capable to act as Video Gateway?
Which device where used by old CUVC on this case?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
The 3241 gateway isn't end of life and definitely recommended as an ISDN-H323 gateway for all video conferencing needs
I think you might be referring to the 3200 series (3210,3220,3240 etc.) and 8310 blade which are not currently sold (however, the software upgrades are still available if a customer has one).
You'll find more information about the 3241 series and its equivalent blade version 8321 here:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/products/ps11448/prod_models_home.html
Also, Cisco 2900 series router gives you the option to install modules for ISDN BRI and PRI and capable of video calls. However, they give you basic call capabilities whereas the 3241 series gateway has lots of additional features and supports a broader range of switch types.

Hi Tasmia, thanks. Yes, definitly the 3241 is the best choice, but as i came from Tandberg world, the people askme if it is possible to use some Cisco device and i´m not sure which one fully support videocalls.
Do you know where can i found details abput wich are the requisites in a 2900 to be able to support videocalls over PRI, How many PRIs can we use at the same time, resolutions and protocols, DSPs (which one?), etc
Thanks
