CISCO SX20 codec issue

Hi all,

I have a SX20 system and its codec seems to never boot up,

The power button LED blinks slowly,

The Ethernet connection doesnt work,

There is neither video signal nor audio,

It seems to be in standby mode but ir never wakes up,

I cant access to the web interface,

I also tried to reset it using the power button,

You could try connecting to the SX20 with a serial connection (See this thread for some options - Post 8 by Tanja Bader) and see if you are able to see any messages on the console.

Failing that, it sounds like you might need to RMA the device.

Have you tried the factory reset?

Turn off SX20, then hold the power button for 10 seconds until it starts blinking. Then press the power button twice. SX20 should factory reset  and restart automatically.

If this does not work, RMA the device.

I dont have those cables needed to troubleshoot it,
