Cisco TelePresence Interoperability with Aethra endpoints
I was wondering if anybody from the community came across this issue already:
Cisco TelePresence MCU 4520 version 4.3(1.68)
Aethra endpoint X3 Product Aethra Atlas 3000 Version V10.2.14 Mon Jun 05 12:24:16 2
Aethra endpoint X5 Product Aethra Vega X5 Version V10.2.14 Mon Jun 05 12:19:46 2
Aethra endpoints connecting with H.323 to MCU
MCU port settings FullHD
When Aethra endpoint calls the MCU and is alone in the conference Tx/Rx is CIF/CIF at 25fps. When a Cisco TP C60 set to 1080 joins the same conference Aethra resolution on the Rx goes to XGA at only 6 fps. If a Polycom HDX 720p is in the same conference with the Aethra endpoint the resolution is as it should be CIF/CIF with 25 fps.
The MCU should not work in this way favoring sharpness instead of motion, because the conference setting Motion / sharpness tradeoff is Favor motion.
I guess this is a bug in 4.3 and/or all previous version codes.
