Hi .
An easy question, you can make a cluster VCS between the "old" and the "new" appliance? is there any limitation?
In the prerequisites I've seen some VM 8 cores, but do not understand much.
Thancks !! Have an optimal day

Hello Alex -
As long as the VCS platform is identical (hardware or virtual) and running the same software versions, and you meet the prerequisites. See the VCS Cluster Creation and Maintenance Deployment Guide for more information.
The part about the cores is related to virtual deployments, so if you're running virtual VCS, it wants you to make sure you're running the same deployment sizes noted on pg 4 of the VCS Virtual Machine Install Guide. You don't have to worry about this with the hardware appliance.
