COULD EX90 VER TC4.2.3 280662 BE REGISTERED INTO CUCM8.6 ?

For no license of EX90 and C40, my colleague told me that EX90 can be registraed as a 3rd party device into CUCM8.6

I have tried the way to register it for much times but still failed .

the following is what i have done

in ex90

SIP

Profile 1

URI 1 : 7444@10.203.1.129

DisplayName : ex90

DefaultTransport : AUTO

TlsVerify : Off

Type : Standard

Outbound : On

Proxy 1

Discovery : Manual

Address : 10.203.1.129

Proxy 2

Discovery : Auto

Address : Click to edit...

Proxy 3

Discovery : Auto

Address : Click to edit...

Proxy 4

Discovery :

cancel

Authentication 1

LoginName : cyj test

Password : ***

IN CUCM8.6

i also associate end users with the direcorty number

Hi Qiyu,

Are you trying to register the Ex90 as a third party SIP device because of non-availability of licenses ? I hope you're aware that the Ex90 can be registered to CUCM 8.6 as a native device and you do not require to have it as a third party SIP profile.

You can follow this guide to register the C/EX series as a third party SIP device :

Hi,

Try to force the default transport to TCP.  apart from that i think configuration is OK.

however if the unit is having valid contract i would suggest to upgrade it to TC 5.x and use the native registration available from TC 5 in addition with CUCM 8.x
