CS40 ISDN Gateway

Hi all

Quick question.

I have a client who has just implemented a pair of CS40s integrated with CUCM 8.6 over H.323. All is working fine internally, and the two units can call each other with both voice and video.

We also have a 2951 ISR equipped VWIC3-1MFT-T1/E1 which is attached to ISDN PRI which is currently routing voice calls external to the organisation.

Question is - can the CS40 route video calls out to external PSTN parties equipped with video endpoints using this gateway?  We already have an old Polycom VC unit attached to the same ISR over ISDN BRIs (ISR is configured network side on the BRI ports) which works fine. Only difference with the CS40 is that it will be routing the calls into the ISR over H.323 (we could convert to SIP if required).

Searching on google throws up as separate ISDN GW (the 3241), however I don't really want to go down this route as it means additional hardware, and additional ISDN PRI interfaces.

Grateful for any assistance.
