DX70 WILL NOT FACTORY RESET

I am unable to remote into the DX70 so I am trying a factory reset from the unit itself.

I successfully reset two DX70's from their units.

This one will not reset.

I press and hold the power button until the mute blinks twice

I press and hold the volume up button. 

The mute button keeps lighting up white and not red

Any ideas ???

I let the system boot up and check the volume plus touch was working and then tried the reset procedure again and same result no red mute ??

Factory Reset DX70:

1. Power on the device (don't hold button)
2. Wait for the Mute LED to blink.
3. Press and hold the Volume Up button until the Mute button is lit red.
4. Release the Volume Up button, then press and hold the Mute button for 3 seconds.
