Expressway public cert expired, Jabber will fail as well?

Hi all, 

I have generated a CA signed cert by our private CA
It is fine if using Expressway MRA for jabber

If using expressway for IP phone 78XX series, we have to buy Public cert every year(e.g. GoDaddy)

However, if the public cert is expired.

Does the Expressway MRA for jabber fail as well?

MRA requires a secure connection between the Expressway-C and -E, this is done by verifying the certificates between the two servers. So if your certificates expire, MRA will become unsecured and endpoint registrations as well as calls will fail.
