IP to IP endpoint call possible without call control?

Hi there,

I have a customer who needs two endpoints to call each other from one meeting room to the other over ip only.

Does the Telepresence SX20 or other enpoints support this? 

Also do you have a config examples to register Telepresence endpoint to CME?

Hi

Yes you can do IP to IP calls as long as H323 is enabled and call setup mode should be set to Direct. Then you should be able to dial the other endpoints. This is supported by units the TC software and F software. I think it is possible on the E software as well now that H323 support is implemented but I have not tested that.

Thanks for the insight.  I think I will actually try to unregister the enpoints at my office and try to call them direct.
