ISDN LINK Factory reset

Hi Everyone

I tried to make a factory reset on my ISDN Link.

Im conneced over the serial link.

Im logged in as admin.

But the command sems not to work,

Here the output from the ISDN Link:

xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset

*r FactoryResetResult (status=ParameterError):

xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset

    Confirm(r): <Yes>

** end

ERROR

So what is wrong with this Command ?

Or does anyone know how to unpair the ISDN Link over SSH from the Codec.

The old Codec is defect so i need to make a factory reset on my ISDN Link.

Or unpair the old Codec manually from the ISDN Link.

Best Regards

Thomas

Re: ISDN LINK Factory reset

Its some kind of self esplaining, take a closer look at the response you get, its described what you have to use :-)

xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes

besides that, to take a look in the documentation is always worth a try:

Factory resetting the ISDN Link

The ISDN Link can be reset to factory defaults using a command line interface.

  1. Connect to the ISDN Link over the network (SSH) or serial port.

See “Connecting to the ISDN Link” on page 74.

  2. run the command: xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes

To answer your question:

The old Codec is defect so i need to make a factory reset on my ISDN Link.

Or unpair the old Codec manually from the ISDN Link.

Log into the ISDN link through SSH, enter the following command:

xcommand PairRestart Confirm: Yes

This will reset pairing and you will be able to use a new codec. No factory reset required which mean that you do not have to reconfigure the ISDN link when replacing codec.

After running this command, repair using the TC6 GUI.
