ISDN LINK PAIRING - REBOOTS -

William Vazquez

ALL,

Does the CISCO ISDN LINK auto pair actually auto pair or can pairing be initiated via control?

I have a C40 with an ISDN link.

I want to pair the isdn link for isdn calls. (un-class commercial)

I want to switch to IP calls at other times. (classified).

I switch the ISDN link ethernet and the classified IP connection to the codec.

When retrnting the ISDN link connection to the codec and rebooting, the ISDN link should pair, but it does not.

The pair does not happen auto matically, and we have to pair in the web browser.

How can I initiate the pairing when returning the codec connection to the ISDN link?

I do not want to use the browser each time as I  want to automate theis process.

Any assitance, directin would be helpful.

Best Regards,

WGV

Hi William,

When you dial an ISDN call, it should go out the ISDN link, but when connecting an IP call, it should go out the ethernet... I do not understand why you need to unpair / re-pair the ISDN link from the codec?
