I don't think it is possible, but if you use remote control, you can access the phonebook by pressing one single button, the "phonebook" button (it is a book icon). If you use touch device, you can set phonebook page as the first page on the touch screen.

If you have a c series codec, you can assign phone book entries to the soft buttons on the remote, so you can have up to 5 contacts assigned. This can be completed through the config menu, but I can't remember where off the top of my head. I think you maybe able to do something similar with the MXP series as I remember re-mapping keys at some point in the past.
