Hello,
After upgrading MCU to the latest version, we are unable to display participants' name as typed in SIP "Display Name" option. it is only displayed SIP URI.
Is there a solution for this ?
The current information about the software is as below.
Model Cisco TelePresence = MCU 4501
Software version = 4.3(2.18)
Build = 6.18(2.18)
Thank you

Hi Orhan,
For this you need to over-ride display name.
1. You need to add endpoint to MCU
2. Login to MCU and click on endpoints
3. Add endpoints and specify the parameters
4. Click on add SIP endpoints
5. Specify Call-in and call-out parameters
6. In call-out parameters, mention IP address of VCS.
7. Under conferencing parameters, Mention the display name overide. This name will be displayed in MCU and in the conference as well.
Now Call-in and Call-out parameters should be correct, because this information is compared and MCU decides if it configured endpoint or not. Once MCU finds matching parameters, it confirms it as configured endpoints and applies the display overide and other settings
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any query

Hi Sagar,
I guess I did it correctly since I couldn't test it yet because customer makes their daily meetings. The only concern is Username option in Call-in parameters.
Call-in match parameters are totally EMPTY right now
Username: This must be the username that the endpoint sends to the MCU
So, apparently it is Login Name option but we don't authenticate clients with any password. Should I ?

Hi Orhan,
You dont need to authenticate.
User name in this case will be the host part of SIP URI
For eg:- test@abc.com ..so username will be test.

Hi Sagar,
I configured the endpoints in MCU as you suggested and I will confirm that your answer is correct as soon as customer verifies that it works.
I really appreciate your help.
