Hello all,

We have a MCU  Permanent Conference number registered with vcs, The source for Endpoint Phone book is from TMS. I'm Able to discover and manage all the endpoints from TMS.

How can i show the MCU Permanent conference number on Endpoint phone book through TMS? So that users could dial the permanent conference number from phone book itself?

Currently i could discover all the endpoints from TMS and its appearing on all endpoint phone book.

Thanks in Advance!

Bobby

Hi Bobby

Create a new source type "Manual list" under manage phonebook sources. Save it and add contact. Type in the Conference name, add it.

Now click the add contact method and write the address you use to dial the conference. SIP or H323, (E164 alias is H323)

Save it and go to manage phonebooks, create a new phonebook and connect the source you just created to it. Then click set on systems, and select all the systems you want to see that phonebook. And save.

All the endpoints should now be able to dial that conference through the phonebook.

Guess the easiest would be that you generate a "manual phonebook" source where you manually

add all permanent conference numbers/URIs.

Then you would add a new phonebook (like "conferences"), add the meeting room source to that

and set it up on the wanted endpoints / movi groups.

Take a look in the TMS documentation and online help, wou will find more info there.

Maybe that could be a nice feature request to have an auto-mcu-conference meeting room source.
