MX200, MX300 calls across the WAN

Hello

I have a sitation where we have telepresence units deployed accross 7 sites. when calls are made between sites, if my region setting is set to g729 between regions, calls will connect Audio Only. when i change my region settings to g711 between regions and try to call again Audio and Video works

is there a setting that i need to turn on in order to successfully make and receive calls between sites on G729 ?

I have my telepresence units registered to UCM 8.6 and the units are running the latest code

Hi Cristobal,

Curently the G.729 is not a supported codec for Mx200 and 300.

Audio standards

• G.711

• G.722

• G.722.1

• 64/128 kbps MPEG4 AAC-LD

So in my view its not liking this.
