Not Getting Conf End Notification in Interop Calls and Some Polycom Models

Hi Experts,

We are running into a problem . I would appreciate your inputs .

We are running TMS 13.2 , TPS 2.3 ( 1.55) , CTS 1.9.1 , CUCM 8.6.2a and some Tandberg C Series running TC 5.1.5 and Polycom VSX and HDX.

When we schedule for 30 mins a conference on TMS using only Tandberg/Polycom Endpoints which are resgitered to VCS only. We get the conference scheduled end time notification configured on the TMS on the Tandberg Endpoints but not on the Polycom VSX Viewstation Endpoint.

When we schedule a conference using CTS Endpoints which is added as phonebook entry on the TMS registed to CUCM, Tandberg Endpoints and Polycom Endpoints, we dont get notification end time on CTS and Polycom Endpoint.

Any inputs from your end?

I have exactly the same problem regarding CTS endpoints. See this thread on the same matter:

My coworker Leonardo opened the thread, and according to Kjetil's answer, TMS does not support end notification message with CTS endpoints. I am not sure about Polycom endpoints, but it is probably the same thing.

I am not sure about Polycom endpoints, but with regards CTS endpoints, probably Cisco team will answer us telling that we need to open a feature request, because they answered the same thing on the previous thread.

But let's wait for Cisco's comments anyhow. I hope to have news this time.

Currently the only official testing with Polycom for TMS on-screen status messages was with TMS 13.1.2 and Polycom HDX v3.0.3 and v2.6.0.2 in which the status messages worked.

To determine if the status messages are sent from TMS to the Polycom endpoints an unencrypted wireshark capture would need to be taken on the TMS Server.

Support for the Polycom Viewstation endpoints in TMS are limited and has been removed in TMS 14.2.2

With regards CTS endpoints, Adam just answered me telling that Cisco has plans to add this feature in the version 14.3, it is not offical, but at least we have some expectation. See the thread:
