Operator voice won't shut up!!!

After successfully joining a virtual room the operator voice keeps screaming, "Please enter a room number ..." over-and-over again.

Endpoint: SX20 (v6.0)

MCU 4501

Any suggestions?

Hi!

What kind of infrastructure do you use and what other software versions are involved

(like on the MCU and your call control).

Does this happen all the time, does it only happen on this specific endpoint, is it on

all meeting rooms or a specific one?

Is this your mcu?

Do you "hear the voices ;-)" as well when you dial in to some other unencrypted destination?

Could you do a xstatus and xconfig on the sx20 (via ssh as admin) and post it here?

Possibly not the cause, but there is a later SX20 software version (TC6.1.2)

the latest of the MCU is 4.4 and the VCS(if you use one, X7.2.2) thats worth upgrading.

Did you check on the endpoint that its the only call which is up? It supports multisite and

even without you have the additional audio phone call.

So any unwanted additional calls up there?

When you look at your call control do you see one or multiple calls being active.

When you look on the MCU how does it look there, you can see if there is

for example a call from the meeting room to some other bridge active

or if there is a hanging or duplicate?

Check the conference and the auto attendent status.

I think it might be interesting to see what causes it, if you do not have the time, I would simply

start with trying to reboot the endpoint and the MCU :-)
