Phonebook Server on Codec reverting from public to internal FQDN.

I have a couple of systems - System Profiles, C40s, and MX200/MX300's that are registered on public IPs.  I have configured each system on the Phonebook server to point to the public FQDN of my TMS.  I am having serveral units that will revert randomly to the internal FQDN.

So I set it to use tms.public.com and it works fine.  Randomly within several hours, it is reverting to tms.private.com, and as these systems are not on my network, it cannot receive the phonebook.

Anyone seen this and have any thoughts on how to resolve this?

Thanks!

Are these systems on public ip addresses?

You have two hostnames which you can configure in the TMS network settings page,

the internal and the external one. Check that the external one is correctly set.

Advanced Network Settings for Systems on Public Internet/Behind Firewall

If the system is on a public ip / behind 1:1 nat check how the connection settings look like and make

sure its set to public internet or behind firewall.
