Request for floor on Codian MCU

Hi all,

I want to know the meaning of event log output by Codian MCU when an endpoint sent a request for floor.

There are logs I captured after I sent a request for floor from MXP endpoint.

13959 2012/07/29 17:29:43.254 CONFERENCE              Info      conference "Conference Name" - set floor to participant 1272

13960 2012/07/29 17:29:43.254 CONFERENCE              Info      participant 1272: acknowledging floor request

    13961 2012/07/29 17:29:43.299 CONFERENCE              Info      participant_message_fn 1272: request for floor

Could anyone please let me know what does each line mean?

Best Regards, and thanks in advance

Request for floor on Codian MCU

Hi Kotaro-san,

Third line in logs display the message, it is not message sent by MCU.

It shows actual message received by MCU i.e request for floor.

Not sure what is 'fn' stands for.

Regards,

Sagar

Request for floor on Codian MCU

Hi Kotaro-san,

First line means :- that for conference named "Conference Name" , it is setting/allowing floor for participant 1271

Second line:- MCU is acknowleding the floor reqeust sent by participant 1272

Third line :- It shows messages sent i.e. 1272 request floor

Let me know if you have any queries.

Request for floor on Codian MCU

Hi Sagar-san,

Thank you for your information.

Let me clarify the flow of request for floor.

1- an endpoint sends request for floor.

2- a MCU sets/allows floor for the request (the 1st line in the log above).

3- the MCU acknowledges the floor request. (the 2nd line in the log above).

4- the MCU sends message to the endpoint (the 3rd line in the log above).

Is this correct?

By the way, what does "fn" stand for in the 3rd line?

Best Regards,
