Hi All,
We currently have a unit in one our remote office that has lost paring with the Touch 8 and the staff their have very little tech skills to help resolve this.
Our setup is not standard as we codec in the comms rack and you cannot see the display from the comms rack. So the local staff can’t see if they are pressing the correct buttons on the remote to activate paring mode. I have tried walking them through the steps to activate paring to no avail.
Is there a way to activate paring mode on the SX20 remotely?
Current software version is TC6.3.0.3d8e7d1.
Thanks in advance for you help and advice.
Regards
Oliver

The pairing is initiated from the Touch 8, not from the codec - so they should be able to do it from the room it's all in without going to the rack where your codec is housed. See the Installation Sheet for the instructions.

HI Wayne,
Thanks you your help with this, We had to restart the codec and touch 8, then they automatically paired.
