SX20 - Dual Display doesn't work as expected

Hola a todos.

Tengo un terminal Cisco SX20 con licencia Dual Display. También tengo un C20 con la misma licencia.

1- Cuando el C20 está idle muestra el video local en ambos monitores, si conecto un PC en la entrada de contenido, entonces lo muestra en el monitor 2.

2- Cuando el SX20 está idle muestra el video local solo en el monitor 1, si conecto un PC en la entrada de contenido, entonces lo muestra en el monitor 2.

3- Cuando el C20 Está en llamada, el video remoto se ve en el monitor 1 y el video local se ve en el monitor 2. Al compartir contenido el monitor 1 muestra el video remoto y PIP del video local, el monitor 2 muestra el contenido.

4- Cuando el SX20 Está en llamada, el monitor 1 muestra el video remoto y PIP del video local, el monitor 2 permanece gris hasta que se envía contenido.

¿Cómo puedo hacer para que el video local y remoto del SX20 se muestre en monitores separados cuando no se envía contenido?

Hello, everyone.

I have both Cisco SX20 and C20 endpoints. Both with Dual Display licence.

1- When the C20 is idle, monitor 1 and 2 show local video. If I connect a PC to the content source then the monitor 2 shows it.

2- When the SX20 is idle, just monitor 1 shows local video. If I connect a PC to the content source then the monitor 2 shows it.

3- When the C20 is in a call, monitor 1 shows remote video and monitor 2 local video. While sharing content monitor 1 shows remote video and PIP of local video, monitor 2 shows content.

4- When the SX20 is in a call, monitor 1 shows remote video and PIP of local video, monitor 2 still gray. While sharing content monitor 1 shows remote video and PIP of local video, monitor 2 shows content.

At the end are 2 pics that show the problem.

I want to watch local video and remote video in separated screens when content isn't sharing (SX20). How may I do it?

Hello Sharong -

Change the following two settings on your codec, and this should get you what you want.  When TC6 was released and Cisco introduced new selfview options, it changed how the codec behaved and treated the selfview when using dual displays.

Video SelfviewDefault FullscreenMode: On

Video SelfviewDefault OnMonitorRole: Second

When content is being sent, it will show on your second display, and selfview will then become a small PIP on the first display.  OnMonitorRole will put selfview on your second display when content is not being shown, and FullscreenMode will make selfview show as fullscreen when on the second display instead of a PIP.
