SX20: Recording videocalls

Hello,

I need to record a videocall using a local computer. Is it possible to hook up a laptop using the HDMI2 port and record the signal with a PC recording program (i.e. EzVid - http://www.ezvid.com)?

I don't need to record local audio, just audio and video coming from the other end of the videocall.

Thanks in advance,

   Juan Andres

Hi Juan Andres,The SX20

Hi Juan Andres,

The SX20 device does not record video calls, in order to get this feature you need to get a Content Server (TCS).

Cisco TelePresence Content Server
Easily share knowledge using the Cisco TelePresence Content Server, which records Cisco TelePresence and third-party videoconferencing meetings and multimedia presentations for live broadcast and on-demand access.

The Cisco TelePresence Content Server simplifies the process of capturing and sharing many types of content throughout your organization, including:

  •     Lectures
  •     Training sessions
  •     Meetings
  •     Any critical events

You can create and manage business-quality multimedia content easily from any H.323 or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) video endpoint. You can also distribute that content, live or recorded, to any PC or portable media device or to Cisco Show and Share.

For more information following the link about the product:

Best regards,

Daniel
