Would anyone know if there were some monitoring tools specifically for Telepresence that are available (preferably free), that can monitor TP calls end to end and alert if the call quality drops below a certain threshold please? I guess similar to IPSLA, but is this possible on the TP codec's?
I know that the GUI can show the call establishment quality but not sure if the codecs can alerts on such events as quality degregation...
If you just need to check if the network is ready to receive video calls, you can use the Video SLA Assurance Agent (VSAA). This is the software used for NPA process. Of course, this is not real time monitoring tool.
Note that for Tandberg endpoints, you cannot collect call status feedback via SNMP, only for CTS/TX series. So the best option in this case would be measure the quality using the network devices.
