Hello all,
We have VCSC(X.6), TMS(13), and MCU(4.2) in HQ, and VCSC(X7), TMS(13.2) in Branch office.
Currently they work separately, we are planing to configure intercluster trunk, so that the endpoints registered in each sites will be able to call each other.
1) If we do a cluster with both the VCSC, Hows the load balancing of Cisco VCS Cluster works? Is it Active- Active or Active-Passive? if any Cisco VCS peer in a cluster fails, Does those endpoints registered to that VCS peer have to manually re-register to one of the other peers in the cluster before they can make further calls?
2) Can we maintain a common phone Book using TMS, once we configured a intercluster trunk between two vcs? We have TMS in both the sides.
3) Currently customer has movi licenses installed in their TMS, can we install 'Jabber for Telepresence' with the movi license.? Will Jabber for Telepresence works with movi license?
Thanks
Bobby

If you're considering clustering, I strongly suggest you read the VCS Cluster Creation and Maintenance document:

Hi Bobby.
Need more clarification about your deployment.
are you saying that you have two separate clusters where you are running two noded on x6 and two nodes on x7?
normally when one of the cluster peer fails endpoint should automatically gets registered to other peer. you can have both the nodes of cluster in a active-active enviornment.
can you clarify more on point no. 2
for jabber for telepresence you also need device provisioning key on the VCS. if there are separate nodes in the clsuter you need this option key on all the peers.

Alok
