The only time the VCS-E would have TMSAgent on it is if the FindMe key or Device Provisioning key is loaded. However the Device Provisioning key is not supported on the VCS-E, so it should not be loaded ever.
The reason I ask was that I have it under TMS and I'm getting these alerts saying that I need TMSAgent and all this stuff. I clear them, but it doesn't go away. I didn't have it running there, but I was wonder how to get rid of it.
I'm running an old code on the TMS 13.1.2 which we will be upgrading this Winter.
The Device Provisioning option key *IS* supported in the VCS Expressway. Provisioning on the Expressway is normally not seen, as it is usally on the Control. I have seen Provisioning used on the Expressway before for Movi registration authentication (when not using NTLM - Active Directory). This type of design would need some special consideration as it would require manually removing the SIP routes that are added to point provisioning and phonebook requests to the provisioning service.
Thanks for the correction, I was not aware of that. The last I heard was that DevProv is not available for the VCS-E. I figured this was not supported as you cannot specify DevProv as an option when you order a VCS-E.

the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
