TMSXE and TMS "default setup buffer"

TMSXE: 3.1.2

Although we have setup in the TMS the "default setup buffer" to 10 mintes, we are not able to start meetings in advance. Looking at the documentation it says:

"Caution: Do not enable setup and teardown buffers if using Smart Scheduler, Cisco TMSXE, or any other application that makes use of the Cisco TelePresence Management Suite Extension Booking API, as the API does not support these buffers."

So if this is true, how can we setup the TMS/TMSXE to allow meetings to start in advance ?

Hi Matthieu,

You cannot currently set up TMS to start conferences in advance if you schedule through TMSXE/Exchange.

This will change in a future release though, see the TMS 14.3.2 Release Notes page 48.
