TP call across inter-cluster trunk

Hi,
I'm looking for thoughts on the following.

TP Endpoints, (TX, CTS, MX, EX, etc) registered with CUCM Cluster A, being able to call the same mix of endpoints registered with CUCM cluster B. I'd envision the clusters being connected via inter-cluster trunk. I have a customer splitting up their company and need a interim solution while they separate the 150+ sites. Is there any technical reason why this should not work?

I encountered some issues using ICT between 2 CUCM 8.6.2 clusters. One way video, delay on setup,...

I've set up a SIP Trunk and all is working fine now.
