Dears,

I want to call from CTS endpoint to my cisco IP phone, so i need to create a SIP trunk on CUCM to pointing to VCS, what configuration i have to do on VCS for the same.

Also i want to know what blanks i have to fill in on  SIP trunk window of CUCM.

I am a fresher for VCS and UC.

Thanks

When you say "CTS Endpoint" do you mean an endpoint registered to CUCM or VCS? If they are both registered to CUCM you don't need a SIP trunk.

If you mean a video endpoint registered to VCS, check the CUCM to VCS deployment guide here - it gives you step by step instructions:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/telepresence/infrastructure/vcs/config_guide/Cisco_VCS_Cisco_Unified_Communications_Manager_Deployment_Guide_CUCM_8_9_and_X7-2.pdf

Hi Jack,

you can go thorugh the deployment guide suggested by Nick in above post. normally the blanks on CUCM window SIP trunk point towards VCS ip.

please also note to sggregate your dial plan for VCS and CUCM.

some questions need to be answered:

what version of CUCM and VCS have you deployed?

is your VCS clustered?

are trying to establish a SIP trunk using TLS?

what type of endpoints and where are they registered at?

there are a few deployment guides released to public but you need to be specific in order to use the right one.
