What happens if you simply try to pair the new one?

If that does not work I would try a factory default reset of the endpoint.

On the codec you could do (warning, all old config, call history, ... is lost):

xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes

Check out the guides of the ISDN Link and SX20 for more info.

Just updating the post, there is no way to unpair the faulty isdn link except the factory reset of the SX20,

this is a big drawback if anybody has a huge configuration on SX20.

clarkwhite: thank you for the feedback.

did you try the methods suggested by amehla or hashimoto?

Regards your current configuration.

You can do a backup of the endpoint system. Either from the webinterface or type xconfig

when logged in via ssh to the admin account.

If you did the ssh method you will see a '*c ' upfront each config line, simply remove these characters and you could copy paste the text in again.

You can also delete lines which you do not want to have.

Passwords are not shown with an xconfig. (neither are things like phonebooks)

That can at least help you to keep if you want to do a factory default reset.

Dear Martin,

sorry for the late reply.

solution from the amehla is when the ISDN link is connected and live, but in my situation the isdn link is dead, it cannot search.

the another solution from hashimoto is the command we have to execute but i didnt found such command, i think that command refers to isdn link and in my case the isdn link itself is dead.

Hi Clark, Automatic Pairing

Hi Clark,

Automatic Pairing is supported in software version IL1.1 version along with endpoint version TC 6 or newer.

To unpair ISDN link, go to configuration>peripherals>manager ISDN Links>isdn link configuration

and click on unpair this device.

To Pair new ISDN link, Go to configuration>Peripherals>Manager ISDN link.

click on search for devices. choose your ISDN link from the list and click pair.
