I did implement a VCS and Lync 2013 integration last week as per cisco deployment guide and all went fine. All Lync users registred to the FEP are able to do video with TP endpoint/room or Jabber users.
The customer Lync solution include also SBA servers. All lync users registered to the SBa's are not able to call the Video side.
The deployment guide did not include SBA's. I am not a Lync specialist (Not yet :-) ) but as I understand. The purpose of SBA's is to provide resiliency and in case of branch site is not able to communicate with Lync FEP, users at the branch site can still go via PSTN (equivalent to ciso SRST). But in the SBA setup, the Lync client register as primary to the SBA not to the FEP.
I would like to check with you if someone already did similar integration. Is it possible from Lync client registred to SBA to call video TP side? Is there any specific config need to be done on the SBA?
The short answer is that you don't.... That isn't entirely true while at
the same time it kind of is, but for the most part you don't configure
the softkeys. You enable or disable them via TCL. Here is the long
answer. Be sure to read the whole thing or e...
