VCS-E installed on VMware DMZ LAN2 insterface speed issue.

Hi

We have installed VCS-E 8.2 on Vmware and separate ethernet port on UCS used for DMZ LAN2 connectivity.

We are getting speed issues, and DMZ switch interface getting amber light, instead of green.

Switch has all Fastethernet port.

Even VCS-E LAN2 speed changed to 100full manually using xcommand.

But VCS-E shows LAN speed as 10Gig under ethernet Status.

VMware shows 100full.

If I connect my laptop to LAN2, i can ping. But when I connect to DMZ switch, I can ping LAN2 IP from switch.

Any special config required at VCS-E ot VMware config to match virtual port sped?

Surprised to see VCS-E shows LAN speed as 10Gig under ethernet Status.

Attached screenshot.

Pls. advice.

Rgds

You have to make changes in VMware instead of VCSE. I would remove the configuration that you put in the VCSE and use the VMware DCUI to make changes to the speed.
