VCS log error "Failed to provision user"

Receiving error on VCS

provisioning: Level="ERROR" Detail="Failed to provision user" User-URI="user@domain.com" Reason="Device not found" Device-model="codec" UTCTime="2012-01-05 21:21:02"

Error refers to a C40 codec

I have no idea what is invoking this error

Any insight would be greatly appreciated

VCS log error "Failed to provision user"

One simple reason might be that the C40 is not supported.

If I see it right its "only" Movi, E20, EX60, EX90,  MX200, MX300 which are currently supported

for device provisioning with TMS/VCS (TC5 for TC systems).

And even when you use one of these you should check that the proper device XML templates is present on your TMS.
