VCS, VCS-E problem H.323: Failed to connect to x.x.x.x : Invalid alias

I'm configuring a connnection between VCS-c and VCS-E, in traversal zone the h.323 status is:

H.323: Failed to connect to x.x.x.x:6001 : Invalid alias

Port in both devices is 6001 and I can see in the firewall traffic in both directions.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks

If you could tell us a bit more about the call flow, what dials what and how, post  a screenshot of the exact error, ...

search/call history, ...

Is your traversal zone properly up? (shows up as active on both sides?)

Is the ip address correct typed? If you use DNS is DNS resolution working on the VCSs?

Most enterprise grade firewall have h323 layer-3 features which are enabled by default and might

not even show up in the config unless they are disabled, they can cause strangenessnes especially

on h323 and unencrypted sip calls.

I'm configuring traversal zones in vcs an vcs-e. the traversal zone is not active.

I attach the screenshots

As the sip zone is up the username / password seem to be ok

(though also always worth to recheck)

Did you check the firewall for any layer 3 h323 features? That would me my best guess for now.

Please remember to rate helpful responses and identify

is H.323 registration on on your VCS-E?

Best Regards

Ye, is on.

it says "system unreachable". Check your firewall and make sure required ports are open.
