Webex Online and Video Endpoints

Hello community,

is it possible to connect a video endpoint registerd on the vcs to a online webex meeting?

At the momemt we have a few Jabber and H323/SIP endpoints registerd on the vcs. On the other side we have online webex accounts.

Are we not able to connect them?

We have configure the VCS with SR (sip.webex.com) like in the configuration guide cisco webex teleprecence enable. We have the TMS and MCU. But I don´t know my webex site/name from the online accounts. So what alias should we call to connect to a webex user? marco@?.webex.com

.

Do we need a WBS to use this ?

Thank you

You need to have Meeting Center to enable this. This capability will have to be enabled on the cloud side as well. There is a A2Q process that you have to go through which only registered partners can do.

A good overview of WebEx Enabled TelePresence can be found on the Cisco Live online site, here is one session that goes over the deployment and requirements.

As George has stated, you need to have Meeting Center in the WebEx Cloud to make this work.  The A2Q process is something that  ensures that your TelePresence environment is capable and ready to support the deployment, once that is done, then Cisco will configure your WebEx site.  This entire process takes times, some say you should expect around 1-2 months to complete.
