We developed a monitoring process based on job schedules to trigger an even email alert if the main monitored job hasn't started or finilised between its time frame window, let's say we have a job name 'Job_1' and a monitoring job named 'Job_1_mon' which basically run in parallel. The main job has email alert as well for warning and error in case the job pass its time window or fail.
The whole monitoring process is a little bit more comlicated than what I explained above, just trying to give you a high level overview on what we have a the moment. I can explain you in more detail if it's required.
Please let me kow if there is any other approach to monitor jobs different from the one explained above?
