Downtime consideratins when upgrading from UCM 7.1.5 to UCM 10.0

Hi,

 

Is there any downtime on the end user side with ip phones registered to 7.1.5 cluster (pub n sub) when doing the PCD migration to 10.0?

The new Cluster is supposed to have new ip addresses and DNS names? Are ther any specific issues experienced with this?

Hi SKVL, the only downtime

Hi SKVL,

 

the only downtime would be related firmwares of IP phones which would get upgraded to latest firmware available on CUCM 10 if u have DHCP configured.

 

if not, then, u need to have configure TFTP in all phones to point to new cluster .
