What is everyone doing about DST 2007 and Exchange 2000? From what I read, you have to have some kind of extended hot fix support from Microsoft to patch Exchange 2000.

Hi Mike,
Here's another post about this issue specific to Unity. http://forum.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/NetProf?page=netprof&forum=Unified%20Communications%20and%20Video&topic=Unified%20Communications%20Applications&CommCmd=MB%3Fcmd%3Dpass_through%26location%3Doutline%40%5E1%40%40.1ddd47ac/0#selected_message
If you search NetPro with keywords like DST and 2007, you should find some other threads.
I hope this helps!

Maybe I am missing something but it seems to me that Cisco needs to address this issue for their customers who received Exchange 2000 with Unity.
Microsoft has posted the following, "Updates are available now. Exchange Server 2000 is under Extended Support. Customers with Extended Hotfix Support Agreements (EHSAs) can request hotfixes through their Technical Account Managers." (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/timezone/dst2007.mspx)
Cisco has stated that Unity is "under investigation". (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_tech_note09186a00807ca437.shtml)
Will we get the Exchange 2000 update via Cisco or should we start writing a check to Microsoft?
Can someone on the Unity team tell us what is going on? I opened a TAC case and was informed that comprehensive Field Notice will be posted soon.
Thanks

Your updates should always come from Cisco, even if they are Microsoft patches. If the patches end for Exchange through MS, Cisco will probably have to cease support for 2000. Just as is Exchange 5.5 support has ended for support at MS, Cisco really does not support the 5.5 messaging platform for any new patches.
I would probably go along the lines of Exchange 5.5 of what will happen to E2k.
