UCCX CTI Route Point - Call Forward Settings

I am looking to have anyone calling a CTI Route point that points to UCCX to temporarily be forwarded to a voice mail box with a message.

If I check the call forward settings under the CTI Route Point DN to point to a mailbox, will that work or will the call still try to go to UCCX?

it will forward, but i believe it will carry the digits of the

route point. so you may want to match digits of VM box to RP.
