5 MB log files in MDBDATA directory fills hard drive

I see 5MB log files being deposited in c:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\MDBDATA every 10-20 minutes. They have filled up the drive several times. What causes this? Why are they not auto deleted? What is the solution?
